This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the site, technically necessary server data (e.g. IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, user-agent) is temporarily written to server log files by GitHub. We ourselves do not have access to these logs. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).
The site is a scroll-based portfolio. Image sequences and text for each project load from this site's own static assets. The navigation in the top-right corner opens a menu that lists all projects; clicking a project — or clicking anywhere on the scene — opens a built-in video player modal directly on the page.
The player is our own implementation; no third-party player is embedded. No YouTube, Vimeo, or similar service is loaded, and no tracking pixels, analytics scripts or advertising networks are used. There is no comment function, no share widget, and no social-media login.
Project videos and the preloader animation are delivered as static files from GitHub Pages. When you play a clip, your browser requests that file from GitHub, which — as with any web request — means GitHub temporarily sees your IP address and user-agent. No cookies are set in the process, and we do not receive or store this data ourselves.
This website does not set any cookies of its own. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. A short sound effect that plays when you hover over menu entries runs entirely in the browser and does not transmit any data.
The typefaces "Rock 3D" and "Martian Mono" are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the fonts are fetched, your browser connects to Google's servers and transmits your IP address and user-agent. We use Google Fonts to present the site in its intended typography (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a consistent visual appearance). The videos, stills, illustrations, and texts shown on this site are protected by copyright. For most of the projects shown, the rights — including usage and reproduction rights — lie with Nimmersatt.
